Get ready for an unforgettable day of fun at the iconic Granny Smith Festival in Eastwood on Saturday 17 October 2026, running from 9:00am to 8:30pm.
Visitors can look forward to a vibrant program featuring crowd favourites alongside new and exciting attractions, including amusement rides, market stalls, food trucks, live entertainment, a youth zone, and activities for children. The day will end with a high energy finale performance followed by a dazzling fireworks display.
What truly sets the Granny Smith Festival apart is its strong community spirit, bringing together over 200 stallholders, 500 performers, and up to 1,000 local participants in the iconic street parade.
DAPA plans to have a stall again this year and also hopes to participate in the Grand Street Parade.
DAPA Stall: 9:00am – 3:30pm.
Our Goals
- To have direct access to the community to publicise the DAPA brand and to introduce our staff and participants to show that DAPA is a friendly, welcoming and inclusive space with the aim to increase participant numbers.
- To engage with potential clients, their families and carers to showcase our MMLink App, our programs and our work opportunities.
- To offer for sale framed prints of our DAPA Participants artwork and apple bracelets and earrings made by our DAPA Participants and staff.
Our Needs
- Volunteers to man the stall – liaise with the community and sell items on 1-hour shifts.
- If you could please volunteer 1 hour of your day to help man our DAPA Stall – please let Maxine know.
Grand Street Parade: 9:30am.
All groups to assemble at Lakeside Road Parade Marshalling area by 9:00am. Parade commences 9:30am sharp.

- To give our DAPA Participants the opportunity to walk in the Granny Smith Festival Grand Parade.
- To get visual exposure in the community of our DAPA brand.
Our Needs
- People to walk in the Parade wearing a DAPA T-Shirt and carrying DAPA signs.
